Children's Privacy Notice

In plain English

Golfle is not for kids under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If you're a parent and you believe your child has signed up, email us and we'll delete their account and data.

1. Minimum age#

Golfle is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. If you are under 13, please do not use the Service or submit any personal information to us. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with a higher minimum age for digital services (typically 16), you must meet that higher local minimum.

2. COPPA compliance (United States)#

The U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) and its implementing rule (16 C.F.R. Part 312) impose requirements on operators of websites or online services directed to children under 13, and on operators of general-audience services that have actual knowledge they are collecting personal information from children under 13.

Golfle is a general-audience trivia game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.

3. Information for parents and guardians#

If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child under 13 has provided personal information to Golfle, please contact us immediately at antlrcreatives@gmail.com with the subject line “Parental Request — Child Account.”

Please include:

  • The email address used to create the account (if known);
  • The display name on the account (if known);
  • Your relationship to the child;
  • A short statement confirming the child is under 13 and that you are the parent or legal guardian.

We will verify the request and, on confirmation, delete the account and all associated data within 30 days at the latest. We may need to retain certain limited information (for example, the email address itself) for a short period in order to confirm the deletion request and prevent re-registration of the same account by the same child.

4. More information#

For the broader picture of how we handle personal data, including the rights you have under U.S. and EU privacy laws, please see our Privacy Policy. Helpful resources for parents include the FTC’s consumer guide at consumer.ftc.gov.
