Golfle’s football games are built on freely published, openly licensed data. Every source is listed here with the attribution its licence requires. Data is imported on a schedule into compact snapshots; no provider is contacted while you play.

None of the licences above convey trademark or publicity rights, so this site ships no team logos, wordmarks, helmet or uniform artwork, and no player photographs or likeness art. Teams are drawn as original lettered badges. Team and player names appear only to identify which real matchup a scenario is grounded in.

How ratings are made

Team and player ratings are Golfle’s own derived inputs to a game model. They are not scouting grades, not official statistics, and not predictions about real games. Each one is normalized within its season and shrunk toward the league average in proportion to how little data supports it, so a small sample can never produce an extreme rating.
